The Black Spartacus 🇭🇹. This is the statue of Marron Inconnu (Unknown Maroon), a powerful symbol of Haitian independence. The statue depicts a runaway slave, or maroon, blowing a conch shell. The conch shell was used to signal the start of the Haitian Revolution.
